Fit-out of new eye clinic Oogcentrum Noordholland

  • Ease of use
  • Efficiency in care
  • Patient hospitality
  • Quality of equipment
  • Sustainability
When Oogcentrum Noordholland announced in 2017 that it would be opening a new clinic, Laméris was involved from the start in the construction and fit-out of this ambitious project. Quality of care, ease of use, efficiency and hospitality were leading factors in the choices that had to be made.

Involved from start to finish

In this project, we were involved right from the architectural plan and initial sketches. We not only advised on the fit-out, but also equipped the clinic with high-quality medical equipment and efficient automation systems. The end result is a modern clinic aimed at improving the quality of care and the accessibility of ophthalmology care in the Noord-Holland region.

Project characteristics

Project characteristics

Within Oogcentrum Noordholland, electrically height-adjustable Haag-Streit DOMS refraction units have been used. In terms of dimensions, the units are tailored to the rooms and, through the choice of colours and materials, seamlessly match the architecture and interior of this special centre. Thanks to the smart control of room functions, including lighting and dimming, the units contribute to the sustainable philosophy.

The units are equipped with premium-tier equipment, such as Haag-Streit, Nidek and HEINE. This enables users to provide the best possible care while patients experience maximum comfort and convenience.

Impression of the result

Oogcentrum Noordholland stands for quality of care and good service provision. It offers demand-driven care and therefore tailored solutions. Customised care for the patient, and for society, by delivering accessible care with maximum waiting times, throughput times and transparency based on quality indicators.
