Norlase® LION®

Integrated green laser indirect ophthalmoscope, wireless and battery-powered.

The Norlase® LION® is a green laser indirect ophthalmoscope (LIO). The ultra-compact laser technology is built-in and powered by a battery in both the footswitch and the headset. As a result, you are not tethered to a console, working instead with a lightweight and portable system. A wireless user interface and voice control of the parameters make it easy to use.

According to Norlase, the LION is the first laser indirect ophthalmoscope with a built-in laser source, integrated fibres, and a wireless design. The laser source is smaller than a coin and is housed in the headset along with the control electronics.
